Dear Applicant,

Our staff is here to serve our members, and volunteers are here to support the staff, meet the needs of the Ranch, and serve the members as needed. Enhancing the environment that has been created requires an atmosphere of harmony, discipline, right-mindedness and a yearning for spiritual growth. Volunteering requires a combination of fulfilling the needs of our members, offering excellence in your efforts, and appreciating and respecting others who are serving.

Keep in mind that volunteers do not receive lodging or meals, so these arrangements must be made before arriving.

Our retreat center is rooted in the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi and the founder of the Self-Realization Fellowship. We honor all truth seekers. Please keep in mind that Song of the Morning has a strict policy: the use of tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs and coming onto the property under the influence are prohibited.
