Natural Surroundings for a Personal Retreat
Located in the Pigeon River State Forest, Song of the Morning is nestled in 800 acres of pristine forest on the Pigeon River. It is home to bald eagles, trumpeter swans, elk, deer, and an abundance of other wildlife. Scenic trails throughout our property provide the perfect opportunity for hiking and biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Canoes are available for boating on our lake; numerous other lakes and sink holes are nearby for swimming. A large, open space along the river is available for outdoor recreational games, and a 20x20 foot platform in the forest provides the ideal spot for personal reflection or a mid-day meditation. Consider visiting for your own personal retreat – to simply be in the high vibrations of this beautiful spiritual environment and take a break from the busy world. Workshops & Retreats
Throughout the year we offer retreats and workshops focused on teaching the science of yoga in its many practical applications. Our programs help participants to achieve the highest levels of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being as they progress on the path toward Self-realization. Meditations, Kirtans, and Hatha Yoga
Daily hatha yoga, nightly meditation, and bimonthly kirtans (devotional chanting) are an ongoing feature at Song of the Morning. Open to the public, these events are free of charge. Private Group Retreats
